If you have children out and about around the school this morning please keep them home or know what they are up to! 2 kids, one on a bike and one on a scooter were at school lighting and throwing fireworks at the playground equipment. The one on the bike was wearing a Disney character Halloween costume blue in color, the other on the scooter, black sweat pants with white stripes, and a camouflage coat. Thank you SaVenna for coming over and chasing them off.

Remember there is a parent/player meeting with Coach Dyk tonight at 6:30 in the cafeteria. This is for all students grades 4-8 that will be playing basketball. If your student has not had a physical yet please get one scheduled. The girls start practice on Monday after school and there is a strict rule 'no physical, no practice'.
Fire prevention week! We will be working with our volunteer fire department today. Don't be alarmed if you see them rolling out to the school.

Hello all grades 4-8 Parents and students!
We WILL be doing the boys' basketball meeting with the girls' basketball meeting next Tuesday, Oct. 17th @ 6:30 in the cafeteria. We had hoped to have a boys meeting the first part of November, but will NEED to know commitment numbers before then to get games scheduled. PLEASE plan on attending if your student wants to play basketball.

Athletics will be having a fund raising spaghetti dinner at our home junior high volleyball game! Oct 5th Game starts @ 5:00. Dinner will be available starting @ 4:30. Includes homemade spaghetti sauce with burger, pasta, salad, garlic bread and drink (sports drink or water) for $10.
