Elementary Awards start at 12:30 today 5/22! Classroom awards, honor roll, track and field, fun run, and more!
Kindergarten Graduation will follow the awards - Declamation projects for grades K-6 are all set up in the classrooms for family and friends to see after Kindergarten graduation.
8th grade graduation will be at 2:30. Cake will be served in the cafeteria for the graduates, family and friends.

Elementary K-6 travels to Harrison tomorrow, 5/21 with the track and field day starting at 9:30 AM. Please make sure your student has sweat pants and a jacket to go over shorts in case the weather gets chilly. Reminder* students need to pack their lunch. There will snacks available at concessions but not lunch items. The bus will be back in time for the route.
Thursday is Elementary awards/declamation! the awards start at 12:30 with kindergarten graduation immediately following awards. The students K-6 will go to their classrooms to present their declamation projects after K graduation. Please feel free to stop by the elementary classrooms to see the awesome work the kids have done!
8th grade graduation will start at 2:30. There will be cake for the graduates and families in the cafeteria following the ceremony.
**UPDATE on Willow Creek Elementary Track and Field Day**
We are moving our Track and Field day to September! The weather forecast is still not good for Friday and we really want to ensure that the kids, teachers and parents can be outdoors and have a pleasant day.
Harrison is still planning on hosting their Track and Field Day on May 21st in Harrison. The forecast so far looks good! Fingers crossed it stays that way.

Bronc parents of kids grades 7-12 we have our potluck awards banquet this Thursday, May 15, starting at 6:00 PM.
Please bring a dessert or a salad, the school will provide the fried chicken and drinks. There will be awards for academics and athletics! Parents, come and celebrate your great kids with us!!

We will have our meet on Friday May 16! Start time 9:00 AM.
There will be concessions including burgers and dogs.

Congratulations to Mrs. Frank and the 8th-12th band members! Every member of the band 8-12 participated at the State Music festival this spring, which is NOT an easy accomplishment in itself but they performed amazingly well and received Superior Ratings at State! the percussion ensemble, clarinet trio, and the wind and percussion ensemble all got 1's. Our clarinet quartet missed getting Superior by ONE point! Well done!! Go Broncs!
Remember the students in grades K-6 have their fun run today starting at 2:15. It should be a nice afternoon. Come join the fun and cheer on the kids :)
There is nothing that teachers appreciate more than seeing their students be successful! Willow Creek students have such a wonderful opportunity to have individual attention from the teaching staff.
Willow Creek's lone junior, Tori, scored an IMPRESSIVE 29 on her ACT test! Congrats Tori! and great job teachers!
Student Out of District and FP-14 Applications for the 25-26 School Year are on the website under Documents and Student Enrollment. Applications need to be returned by June 15th. Current out-of-district families will receive the forms in the mail.
The Pre-K and Kindergarten Round-up for the 2025-2026 School year will be May 9th. The Kindergarten Round-up will begin at 12:30 p.m. The current-year Pre-K students can attend the Kindergarten Round-up, then go home with their parents. The Pre-Kindergarten Round-up will begin at 1:30 p.m. Please get in touch with the school to sign up.
Please remember this is also the last day of Pre-K, and kindergarten students will have full weeks of school for the remainder of the year.

Attention Willow Creek School Voters:
School Districts were given a 3% inflationary budget increase at the current Legislative Session. This reduces the amount we are asking to levy by $9989.99. The Preliminary Budgets were not sent out before the ballots were printed. The ballot you receive will still read the levy amount as $17,883.77, but the district can only levy $7893.78 if approved. The levy amount is approximately 12.23 mills and will cost $13.41 per year on a $100,000 house and $49.53 per year on a $300,000 house.
